The daily management operations are managed and controlled by Mrs. E. Botma.
The aftercare currently houses 500 learners. Grade R to 3 learners are provided with a cooked meal every day. Grade 4 to 7 learners must bring their own lunch. Grade R learners are accommodated separately from the rest of the aftercare.
The entire aftercare area, as well as the classrooms, is covered with cameras—the manager monitors the areas from the office. Each aftercare class has a qualified supervisor as well as a class assistant.
Aftercare times:
- School times: After school – 18:00
- Holidays: 07:00 – 18:00
The aftercare is closed on public holidays, WCED holidays and the Christmas/New Year period. If parents collect learners after 18:00, a fine will be charged!
Aftercare Fees 2026:
- Gr. R-3: R1500 x 10 months
- Gr. 4-7: R1100 x 10 month

No payment – No service and your child then forfeits his/her place at the aftercare!
Morning care
We offer a morning care service between 06:00 and 07:00 for children who need to be dropped off early in the mornings before the school grounds open. This service is available at an additional fee. To enroll your child for the morning care, please request an application form from nasorg@brackies.co.za.
Holiday bookings
The annual Aftercare fees include holiday aftercare from 07:00-18:00 on weekdays. Holiday care is included in the annual aftercare fees – you do not pay extra, but advance booking is essential. If you have booked and your child does not turn up, you will be fined for each day of absence.
