Aftercare

The famous African proverb is more true today than ever before! It is our mission and pride to keep your child safe and happy here, and our excellent reputation precedes us.

Mrs E Olivier (Deputy Head) is overall in charge of the aftercare. The daily management is managed and controlled by Mrs. E. Botma.

The aftercare currently houses 453 learners. Grade R to 3 learners are provided with a cooked meal every day. Grade 4 to 7 learners must put in an extra food packet for aftercare. Grade R learners are accommodated separately from the rest of the aftercare.

The entire aftercare area as well as the classrooms are covered with cameras – the manager monitors the areas from the office. Each aftercare class has a qualified supervisor as well as a class assistant.

The aftercare wants to ensure the best service for your child by ensuring that your child remains safe and happy. The staff strives to give attention and love where needed. A special program is followed during holidays.

Aftercare times:

Holidays: 07:00 – 18:00
School times: After school – 6:00 p.m

The aftercare is closed on public holidays and on WCED holidays. A needs assessment is carried out to see if we can accommodate the learners. If parents collect learners after 18:00, a fine will be charged!
